Icon Laser Skin Resurfacing

Icon skin resurfacing uses a fractional erbium laser to resurface the skin by repairing skin damage and changes due to aging, such as wrinkles and brown spots. The Icon 1540 stimulates new collagen production, which plumps the facial skin, reduces facial wrinkles and improves skin laxity. The columns of energy also target pigment, to break up aesthetically undesirable brown spots, age spots and pigmentation.

Typically, Icon skin resurfacing requires a series of 3 to 5 treatments scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart. The dramatic skin rejuvenation benefits will develop over time as collagen production develops and will become noticeably visible in about 6 weeks. Improvement will continue for at least 6 months after the last treatment.

While there may be some pinkness and mild swelling for one to three days after Icon laser skin resurfacing, there is no downtime, and you can return to work or resume your daily activities.
